Jonesboro's Solution for Cutting-Edge Skills Training

Cutting-edge training that delivers an immediate and sustained return on investment for existing and future employees is critical to the success of any workforce development strategy and is absolutely essential in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing, globally-competitive business environment. Jonesboro’s solution to skills training for industry comes by way of the Workforce Training Consortium (WTC), which has been a vital component of this area’s economic development activities since 1995.  The WTC is a non-profit consortium of industry and education formed to develop an employer driven training center.

The WTC is located at the ASU Newport Jonesboro Campus at 5504 Krueger Drive in the center of the Jonesboro Industrial Park. Regional employers are invited to become members, with fees assessed based on the level of membership.
