Valley View Public Schools provide an excellent learning environment for students, with a mission of maintaining a safe, effective and disciplined environment that is conducive to learning and maximim achievement.  The school climate promotes opportunities that encourage self-esteem, a personal commitment to accepting responsibility, and higher order thinking skills, which are the ability to communicate, reason and solve relevant problems.

New construction is underway, to accomodate the growth of the school district.  A new 169,000 square foot high school is under construction.  It will include 30 academic classsrooms, four classrooms for the arts, five special education spaces and workforce development space.  It will highlight modern classroom technology and modern science lab equipment.  The facility will also include a 2,200 seat gymnasium. 

Valley View offers Pre-Advanced and Advanced Placement classes for junior high and senior high school students.  These courses prepare students for college work and/or Advanced Placement exams that give the student the opportunity to receive college credit.  Eleven Advanced Placement courses are offered in World History, U.S. History, U.S. Government, Language, English Literature, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Calculus, Statistics, Art Studio and Music Theory.
