SBA Names ASU-Small Business & Technology Development Center Champions of the Year |

The U. S. Small Business Administration Arkansas District Office named its 2010 Small Business Person and Champions of the Year at a luncheon at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock on April 27. Mizan Rahman was named the Arkansas Small Business Person of the Year. He is the owner of ETC Engineers & Architects, Inc., of Little Rock. The company employs 13 engineers, architects, and support staff and specializes in the design of roads, water systems, and sewage systems.
Other 2010 award winners included:
- Wonder Lowe, Hope Community Credit Union - Financial Services Champion
- Carmen Parks, Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce - Minority Small Business Champion
- Timothy Lee and Herb Lawrence, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center - Veteran Small Business Champions of the Year (joint award)
- Holly Fish, EGP PLLC Certified Public Accountants - Women in Business Champion
- Andrew LaMonica, SCORE Volunteer - Veteran Achievement Award
- Jim Sadler, SCORE Little Rock Chapter Chair - Entrepreneurial Leadership Award
- Randy Zook, Arkansas Chamber of Commerce - Entrepreneurial Leadership Award
- Fidelity National Bank, West Memphis - 2009 Top Arkansas 504 Third Party Lender Award
- First Financial Bank, El Dorado - 2009 Top 7(a) Lender Award
