Intermediate QuickBooks Seminar

Intermediate QuickBooks Seminar to be offered by ASU Small Business and Technology Development Center Starting Tuesday, October 4th

The ASU Small Business and Technology Development Center will be offering a two night hands-on Intermediate QuickBooks workshop beginning Tuesday, October 4th through Thursday, October 6th from 6 – 9 p.m. at the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development, 319 University Loop West in Jonesboro.

Instructors will be Linda Harvey, Jones & Company, Ltd., and Sherry Hensley of Computer Tutor, both certified QuickBooks instructors. This workshop is for organizations currently using QuickBooks to provide advanced training in this popular computerized accounting system. Topics will include:

• Advanced features of Accounts Receivable and Payables (Oct. 4th session)

• Effective Inventory management techniques (Oct. 4th session)

• Complex issues of Payroll (Oct. 6th session)

• How to correct previous errors on postings (Oct. 6th session)

The two- night sessions are designed to be stand alone. Attendees should be comfortable operating a personal computer in a Windows environment. Seating limited to 19 students.

The seminars are being co-sponsored by the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce, Jones & Company, Ltd., Computer Tutor, East Arkansas Planning and Development District, Downtown Jonesboro Association, First Security Bank, Liberty Bank of Arkansas and Simmons First Bank
