Congratulations to Paragould Chamber President for Being Named Delta Leader

 

Governor Mike Beebe today announced his selection of five leaders and three alternates from the Delta region to represent Arkansas at the Delta Leadership Institute (DLI). Sponsored by the Delta Regional Authority, in partnership with the University of Alabama's College of Continuing Studies, the DLI is a one-year program, designed to assemble committed community leaders who will work to provide solutions for the Delta's challenges.

Governor Beebe selected the following people for this year's Delta Leadership Institute:

1. Trey Ashcraft, Jefferson County, President of Ashven Strategy Group
2. Larry Coulter, Ashley County, Mayor of Montrose, AR
3. Susan Forté, Pulaski County, President of Houseaboutit Inc.
4. Janelle Gardiner, Crittenden County, Educator at Earle High School
5. Sue McGowan, Greene County, CEO Paragould Chamber of Commerce

In the event that any of the above are unable to fulfill their responsibilities to the class, the following have been listed as alternates:

1. Dr. Robert Anderson, Jefferson County, Director of the Arkansas Delta Living Academy
2. Scott Edwards, Mississippi County, Small Business Owner
3. Ed Mabry, Independence County, Executive Director of Independence County Economic Development
