ASU SBTDC to host small business workshop in Jonesboro Thursday, October 14th on Small Business Social Media Marketing with Facebook.

 

The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center along with the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Jonesboro Association will offer “Facebook Business Marketing: Set Your Facebook Page to Engage Customers” Thursday, October 5th from 6-9 pm at the ASU Technical Center in Jonesboro.

Facebook PAGES for Business Seminar - a basic course to help small business owners evaluate how Facebook and other social media can help their marketing efforts. This 3 hour seminar will be taught by Abbi Siler of Local2Social a social media consulting business. “Facebook has become a great marketing tool for small businesses,” said Lawrence. “Over 500 million people are currently on Facebook and over 300,000 small businesses use it to find, engage, and develop profitable relationships with customers who want to do business with them.” Attendees will learn:

• How Social Media Marketing works

• Whether Facebook is RIGHT for their business

• How to configure Facebook Profiles to protect the individual and friends

• How to set up a Winning Facebook Page that engages Fans– tools, applications and tips

Seating is limited to 19 participants.

Registration is $40 per person ($30 for Chamber & DJA members and $20 for ASU Faculty, Staff and Students).
