The Jonesboro Young Professionals Network will host its annual leadership conference March 2-3 at the Hilton Garden Inn. The conference is open to all JYPN and Chamber members as well as professionals throughout the Region.
This year’s conference program focus is “Building the Complete Professional”. The two-day conference will feature local and nationally renowned speakers focusing on professional development, marketing, human resources as well as areas like first time management and community involvement.
“Jonesboro has a history of great leadership,” said Amy Osment, 2011 leadership conference chair. “This conference aims to continue developing leaders in our Region so we can build stronger communities and give young professionals the resources they need to grow both professionally and personally.”
All Chamber members are invited to join the conference attendees for a special Power Breakfast on Wednesday, March 2.
“JYPN also uses the conference to demonstrate how we are impacting our local community,” said Malinda Beeler, 2011 leadership conference co-chair. “Our Legacy committee will hold a conference kickoff and silent auction Tuesday evening. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Food Bank of NEA.”
Conference committee chairs are: Amy Osment, Malinda Beeler, Jennifer Longmire, Chad Harbison and Michael Holmes.
