HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Jonesboro has been providing quality medical treatment in Jonesboro for 20 years and is the only freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Northeast Arkansas. The facility is the only Parkinson’s Proficient Accredited hospital in the area and has the only brain injury specialist.
The hospital is a 67,150 square foot facility with 67 licensed rehabilitation beds and 75 physicians from various specialty areas on staff.
HealthSouth recently introduced the Ness H200 and the L300 Neuroprosthetic and Rehabilitation system to help patients recovering from stroke, brain injury or spinal cord injury resume normal daily activities. The system is a non-invasive way to help patients improve motor skills and increase voluntary movement.
The hospital provides numerous community events and sponsors educational programs. They also offer an amputee clinic the last Tuesday of each month.
